What looks like effortless baroque phrasing on concert night is actually an Olympic workout for the left hand. 🏃‍♂️💨 Our cellos put in the sectional hours woodshedding Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto so every note is locked in. Catch this energy live at our upcoming concert! 📍 King Fine Arts Center • Burley, Idaho 🎟️ Follow Magic Philharmonic Orchestra for concert dates, program highlights, and ticket links.

After Frank Sinatra confessed over dinner that he was quitting the mobbed-up music business, Paul Anka spent an all-night thunderstorm from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM typing new lyrics tailored to Sinatra's tough-guy persona, and Sinatra cut it in a single take. We are playing this song in honor of our good friend Doug Manning who passed away earlier this year after having spent years serving the orchestra as a beloved Master of Ceremonies for countless concerts. This was one of his favorite songs, and we're excited to play it for you. Come hear us play it on November 13th at 7:00 PM at the King Fine Arts Center for our concert "Where did I hear that?" (ticket link is in our bio) What's your favorite memory of Doug at our concerts? Let us know if you'll be joining us, and feel free to share this post to spread the word!

We are looking for a percussionist to join our amazing orchestra! If you are interested message us, and if you know someone who might be, please message/share this with them! They’re easy to spot- they’re always drumming on something but they don’t mind waiting forever for one big cymbal crash! Share this to help us find them! #communityorchestra #magicphilharmonic #SupportLocalArts #IdahoEvents #burleyidaho
